Le lieu est plaisant et singulier :un ancien convent aux nobles proportions dans la belle campagne lombarde. On y passe des nuits très calmes. Les fenêtres sont équipées de moustiquaires. Un copieux déjeuner est offert. La cuisine, commune, avec une salle à manger, est à disposition. Le lieu est bien situé pour des excursions en direction de Crémone et de Parme. Le responsable de la structure, très aimable, donne volontiers des conseils. Il parle anglais (mêle si à titre personnel nous préférons l'italien).

It was important for me to find a hotel close to the race track, and also to be able to cook and store food in the refrigerator, and also parking. All this is in this Ostello Canonical.

There are no air conditioners in the rooms, but since the building is old and has thick walls, it was bearable in the heat. The fan in the room saved me. And also - strange water in the shower, with a smell of chlorine. I remember this smell, this is how the water smelled in Soviet swimming pools in the 70s of the last century.
