comfy bed, cosy interior of the room, simple, but nice

there was only one shared shower and toilet for a couple of rooms and luckily there were not too many other guests

There is not a lot to choose from in Smedjebacken, but Hattkalles is always the first choice. You get a good night's sleep at a reasonable cost. Smedjebacken is not a big place, so everything is nearby.

I have stayed here many times, and always the system with codes has worked fine. This time however I did not receive the codes in advance, but they were (re-?)sent promptly when I asked for them. Both toilet and shower rooms are small, but this is known in advance and part of the deal.

Great value for money. Thoughtful to provide a fan for hot summer days.

A bit thin on crockery, missed larger glasses and mugs.

Crockery is a bit limited, I would have liked a few larger cups and glasses to be made available as well. Also, cutlery is a bit limited in quantity, especially when there are a lot of guests.

Excellent value for money. Good location. Good parking space. Thoughtful that soap and hair & body wash was provided along with towels and bed linen.

Basic spices was not provided in the kitchen (salt, black pepper, cinnamon).
