The hostel is run down and doesn't look cared for. The photos give the wrong impression of the kind of place you're going to be staying. It feels like a former institution of some kind. The breakfast was terrible and quite lazy. Nothing savoury. Bad quality bread. Cheap, bad tasting, and unsustainable peanut butter and chocolate spread. Margarine instead of butter. It really wouldn't cost much and take much effort to offer eggs, rice and beans, etc, or even just eggs and toast! There is no value for money. We paid $80 for one night, which seemed reasonable based on the photos and free breakfast, but not so after staying there
