Location and its staff

Nothing much

Small, familiar hostel—super cozy and clean. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the facilities were always clean and well-organized. It is close to the beach and supermarkets. My only suggestion would be to add some lockers, even though it felt safe. I will definitely visit again if I’m back in Port Macquarie. The pancake breakfast is very good, and there is also a very cute cat staying there :)

I’ve stayed in nicer backpacker places. This one felt a bit grubby but it was probably ok

Staff were friendly and interactive.

There is only parking for 4 cars on-site. You'll need to street park about 50m around the corner from the hotel if you can't jag one of the 2 street parks out the front of the hostel.

some more room in the fridges would have been nice.

Place was clean and felt hospitable. My room was quiet (from Guests) and bed was comfortable .... had to be careful of bunk "ceiling"!

Bathroom was pretty spartan ... using a shaving blade and cold water with no basin plug was a challenge .... so we shaved in the "shower".

Unclean. No manager available from 12:00 to 5:00. Allotted beds were given to other ppl in our absence
