Really nice place to stay, I stayed in a big dorm room but it had AC, one of the only places that did!

Good location and a very chilled vibes location. Very simple accomodation but you know that before you get there. Overall would recommend it as a place to stay and explore for a few days.

Very basic room and bathroom with comfortable bed and cold water shower separated from the toilet/sink. The mosquito net and fan worked well and we weren’t hot at night.

Lots of mosquitoes and it was very loud very early in the morning from the chickens. Our room/bathroom was not the cleanest and it was a small bed for two people compared to other places we have stayed. No toilet paper provided. We were in a room on the ground floor and we could clearly hear the person in the room above and I’m sure they could hear us! There were usually people hanging round the communal area on their phones who seemed to work there but we weren’t sure who they were or what they were doing! We specifically booked this place because it said it had free Wi-Fi but we received a message shortly after booking to say there wasn’t Wi-Fi but they have a hotspot you can use. We asked to clarify if there would be Wi-Fi because we knew we would need it and received the message ‘yes we do have WiFi and you can use it anytime you need’ so we kept our booking. When we arrived it turned out they didn’t have Wi-Fi, just a hotspot from a phone and staff had to be present to use it. The signal was weak so we couldn’t always connect to it and there were times we wanted to use the hotspot and we could not find any staff to use it which was disappointing! We also booked here because it said check in was 7am-4pm and we knew we would be arriving on an early boat which we told the hosts about in advance. However, when we arrived we were told we couldn’t check in until the afternoon and that the check in time on Booking was incorrect. After a bit of back and forth, they said they would check to see if the room was ready which it turned out it was and we were able to check in. If we hadn’t have shown them the check in time or pushed them to check the room, we wouldn’t have been able to check in until the afternoon even though the room was ready which we found a bit odd. We found it to be overpriced for what it is and we have stayed in similar but much nicer accommodation on the islands.
