We had quite a complicated experience with Casa Sofia. We booked spontaneously, and because there is no reception, and the numbers at the door both are not working, we waited for one hour in the dark in front of the door until someone answered. So I wouldnt recommend if you book spontaneously and need a reception, but if not I think its ok, the person came finally and was very nice. The person in charge said it is fine to leave our stuff after the checkout, but during that day she called us and said we have to get out our stuff immediately because of a group booking, and we cant stay at the place anymore. Her mood change and being kicked out like that didnt feel cool, so I also wouldnt recommend to stay here if you need to leave your stuff. Even if you are lucky and this is possible, you need to leave it openly in the patio, there is no room or space for luggage, which didnt feel safe. Would I come back? Maybe, still a good option, but there are definetely better places for less money in SanCris.

The manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of the bus station and main attractions. The facilities are rustic but varied with good hot water, security and a laundry service. There were a small number of rooms so the space was not crowded.

There were a few minor issues that could be improved. The breakfast which was included with our booking was okay but did not include a piece of fruit. The bedroom door locked automatically so we had to leave it ajar if one of us let the premises with the key and the other person remained but left the room.

Such a lovely room and relaxing common area and Rebeca is just lovely and so helpful!

Great central location but still nice and peaceful. Rebecca was really welcoming and helpful, and we loved how sociable the accommodation was.

The beds weren't comfortable

The place went downhill since my visit in April 2024. It’s quite run down now. The mattresses were bad, the towels were old, not sure how often the blankets are washed. It was very cold with only one tiny heater to heat a big room. For breakfast only cereal and milk. Last year we had fruit, toast and jam, coffee and cereal for breakfast that was prepared by someone. We were able to use the simple laundry machine to wash our clothes. There was no curtain covering the entrance to the room so the outdoor lights shine in.

Great staff, super friendly. Kitchen and outside seating area are great! The noisy bed was fixed within a few hours of reporting it.

The mattress was not super comfortable. Our room could've used a bit more decorations or color in our opinion.

Great position, lovely staff, they let us do the check in earlier. The garden is really nice.

The room was cold and really humid. The insulation in the room is poor as we were woken up several times during the night by other guests going to the toilet.
