I did like the view on the balcony and the free box for clothing to donate/take what you need!

This place has potential but i left after a two night stay. The rooms were not comfortable, it gets pretty cold and the mattresses are super thin. At the time i was there, there was no social vibe and the volunteers were not very social, didnt say hi and very loud in the kitchen at 6am. Always a mess in the kitchen, with people leaving dirty dishes, no room in the fridge. Overall i just felt really gross being here and didnt feel welcomed at the moment i was there.

The hostel is lovely. Great views from the rooftop and friendly staff. Great location in San Cristobal

The property was nice in some areas, the deck was sunny and a nice place to sit in the daytime.

The hostel rooms were very crowded and it was incredibly cold at night, they needed a duvet rather than just a sheet and a blanket. There aren’t many toilets for the amount of people staying there. The showers are often busy or blocked/dirty when available. Often had to wait to use the toilet too and they weren’t always the cleanest.

Our room had bed bugs. The room was not clean and the sheets had holes everywhere. I asked the place to help us wash all our infected clothes, but did not want to help. To me, that’s the least thing a hostel could do to compensate for such an unpleasant surprise of bites and scratches.

An interesting experience with all the spiritual people staying there, it does not mean good but just a different experience.

Some people stay there for a long time, so they tend to occupy all the common areas in the room. The kitchen can be better equipped. Reception is closed for most of the time

Very friendly and helpful staff and an absolutely adorable dog.

Dorm door didn't close/lock. Showers weren't cleaned properly by the volunteers and the kitchen was not in the best condition. Bed was in need of a new mattress and there was no ladder so I had to climb up via a chair (I'm 5'2).

From all the hostels I visited in Mexico, this definitely is my favourite. It's perfectly located, the market is just around the corner and to the city center it's only a ten minute walk. With Daniel (the manager) and the volunteers the hostel feels like a little community. Also the dog is extremely well treated and always happy to be cuddled! The terrace has a stunning view and is perfect for yoga in the morning! Came back three times and it definitely wasn't the last time!
