Amazing home stay feeling - very laid back. The location is great, not too far from anything including the beach, the big supermarket and lots of restaurants. My room was simple, minimalist and clean.

Just a mishap from the house carer but I didn’t get any hot water when showering. Otherwise all fine.

Kitchen Cat Cheap

I don‘t know which room they put me in but the ‚female dorm‘ was more for the two volunteers and was packed & messy - see pictures, there was no free space whatsoever. There were also not really rules on how to behave in a dorm - from loud speaking in the evening to lights on early in the morning. At a family gathering sunday night it was also the playground for the kids I guess. This seems more like a homestay than a guesthouse and you should label it that way. I could not relax at all unfortunately. No charger by the bed Rubbish was always full, it was not superclean. The bankbeds are shaking with every move. Shower situation - picture & fluctuating warm water Lights are flickering in bath and toilet or don‘t work at all No big sink to wash face apart from kitchen If you are allergic to cats, you can‘t go

The cat. Super chilled vibe. Very homely. Nice toilet and shower. Kitchen had lots of equipment.

Bunk room and bunk access was a bit tight. Bedding fine but mattress quite thin. I couldn't find power.

Peaceful atmosphere

This is an extremely charming island house with lots of character. It’s rustic and a bit old but it’s the only one of its kind in the neighbourhood and rare in 80s architecture Okinawa. The hosts were warm and lovely. I slept in the Japanese style room and it was peaceful and comfortable. The little makeshift patio garden is wonderful for morning coffee. AND THEY HAVE A KITTEN! I cried when I arrived to a Scandi industrial style hostel in my next destination, the contrast was jarring.

I personally liked it as it is. But I can see the shower room improving with a renovation.

there are four beds in the room and i was the only staying at the night. it is a lovely house, you can use the kitchen too. There are supermarket and market nearby the place. the owner is very helpful, he recommended places to visit and eat, they have a map in the living room. There is a small park nearby to watch the sunrise. shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided for free. you can pay a bit (100yen?) for tower and toothbrush. I parked my bicycle outside the hostel. card payment is accepted
