DJANGO Hostel & Lounge

Django's location to the Tanabe Tourist Information Center, the Kii-Tanabe train station and the #2 bus stop for Takajiri-oji was excellent. For Kumano Kodo trekkers the Tokei shrine was an easy 6-8 minute walk. There are many nearby restaurants and cafes for meals as well as a 7-11 next to the train station. Check in was incredibly easy and the owner (?) was exceptionally kind. My arrival to Django was a bit later than expected so I sent a message to the property. The response I received was not to worry as someone will wait for my arrival. The private entrance for guests was terrific. A microwave was available in the small common area. My room was very clean and the AC worked well. There is a small room fridge, hot water maker and coffee/tea. A washer and dryer was on site. Showers were spotless and there was no lack of hot water. Towels, slippers, body wash, shampoo and conditioner and toothbrushes (gratis) were provided.
