A cheap option on the main street of Chiangdao. The room is basic and has a small private bathroom.

The room doesn't really have a window and the bathroom is very small. However for the price we can't complain too much.

The owner was the nicest lady I ever met, she learns the names of every traveler and goes out of her way to help you. The place is kept clean and it was a good price and good location.

The sink faucet was old and kind of sprayed weird.

We had a great stay at this hostel. The owner is so helpful and friendly. The whole place is clean and comfortable. The lower bunks have complete privacy with a curtain which was really nice. Good AC. Access to hot drinking water. Would definitely stay again.

Noi (the host) was exceptionally kind and wonderful. I felt like I was at home. The hostel was always clean. It is a small hostel and not very busy so I made friends with everyone who stayed or passed through there. Chiang Dao has been the kindest place I've stayed in all of Thailand. I loved every minute of my time here. And I would highly recommend Chiang Dao Center Hostel to everyone!

Very minor things: Hostel was a 10 min drive (1.5 hour walk) from the main tourist area. This was fine if you had a motorbike but cost 150tbh by taxi. I hired a scooter from Noi which was absolutely perfect! There were no lockers so I was not sure what to do with my passport when I went to the hotsprings. Although after spending time in Chiang Dao, I realised that it is an extremely safe place to stay.
