Jambiani Backpackers Hostel

I liked the breakfast and the cappuccino the waiter made :). What I liked least was that there was no mosquito net in the 4-bed room, so I couldn't sleep.

berakfast was perfect. Location was good. Because my hostel was close to beach by walking a fex minutes. Especially the woner of hostel who is William is very good person is trying to make happy his customers. is helping for everything. he is trying to solve best way for their problems.

Staff was great, fruit at breakfast was lovely. The pool was amazing. A/C in the room was nice.

Power failures resulted in water outages. But when staff was made aware they fixed it immediately. There were not good and dry outdoor places to chill when it rained. Our AC unit leaked and left a pool on the floor. The distance to the beach is not far, it's just not a very romantic walk (there is garbage along the way and it's not lit at night).

This is a place where to chill and enjoy. The facilities are a bit better than normally and the cleaniness was immaculate. I stayed in the 4-people female dormitory with a bathroom and a shower included. It was an awesome room! The AC made the room cool which was nice and necessary in the hot weather. You can get a boda boda with 1000 tzs to Paje, it’s very close.

The only con was Mohammed’s unpolite communication towards me for whatever reason. Maybe won’t happen to you tho.

Very nice and chill backpacker vibe! The facilities is really nice and invite u to relax and chill. The breakfast is really good and also the beds! The host is very nice to organize trips and transport. We really like the place and it’s close to so many nice things for example the beach, Paje and Kitmikazi.

Coffee is not included in the breakfast and the host didn’t told us that until we should pay the last day - I think that should had been clear from the beginning. The host could be more openminded because sometimes he seems a bit arrogant and judgmental when u ask questions. The music was nice, but sometimes it was a bit annoying that they didn’t turn the music a bit down in the evening. The music was playing very high until 00.00 and it was difficult to sleep sometimes.

Clean and social place, which allows you to have some fun or to spend your time in a quiet place to recover energies, located next to the beach and really close to the center of the local village ,Mohammed is a really attentive person who really understand the type of people which stays in Backapackers, I would truly recommend it and of course I would visit again.

Very clean bathrooms, the owners Mohammad and William were not only great company but were also always available to help!

AC is not the strongest in the dorm rooms but it was more than fine. I’m nit picking at this point
