clean, well managed, good wifi, quiet (as long as the other guests are quiet)

evrything is a bit basic, shared facilities, you can hear your room neighbours if they are noisy, the one real problem were mosquitos: I actually went out to sleep in my car as I couldn't get them out of my room (seems to be a seasonal issue: it was no problem when I stayed 2 weeks earlier in the same place)

A great place to stay. A lot of outdoor spaces including a braai, and a good kitchen. Loved the quirky features that make the place fun

wow! this hostel was just beyond my expectations... literally had everything you could need. At Joint backpacker you don't feel like you are in a hostel, but at home. The owners treated me like family and were super helpful with everything. Really kind people! One of the fewest hostels who doesn't think only about money and cares a lot about people and the guests. Good location, clean hostel, comfortable beds, and good WiFi - all for a very good price! 100% recommended. Thank you René and JP for being so amazing :)
