The staff were welcoming and nice. The house /apartment is spacious and decently equipped, with both indoor and outdoor chillout areas.

There were a weird bunch of guests, including some people who seemed mentally ill and need help.

This youth hostel is far from the city center. When checking out, I was asked to pay 5 dollars for using the kitchen. I have traveled to 50 countries, and this is the first time I have encountered such a requirement. After checking in, I was asked to pack my luggage and change rooms the next day because they wanted to convert the rooms on the first floor into a single room for others to move in. It felt very disrespectful.

Das Hostal war sauber, die lage war gut.

Aber sie haben Komische Haustegeln. Zum Beispiel: die haben eine Kaffeemaschine in der Gemeinschaftsküche, du darfst sie aber nicht benutzen… Morgens darfst du nur eine Tasse Kaffee trinken, sie stellen dir Trinkwasser zur Verfügung, aber wenn es leer ist bekommst du nix mehr, und du darfst deine Wasserflasche nicht auffüllen. Als ich mein Zimmer dort gebucht hatte, habe ich extra ein den Schlafsaal im oberen Stockwerk gebucht. Als ich ankam wollte sie mir das Zimmer nicht geben. Als ich frage was mit dem gebuchten Zimmer sei, antwortete sie, das es voll ist …. Wir hatten ein kleine Diskussion am Ende ging ich auf das Zimmer und ich war alleine auf dem Zimmer…. Wäsche wasche kostet 7 Dollar ( Full Service!!) bei halte nicht die Wäsche ordentlich zusammenlegen. Und meine Wäsche roch nach Rauch. Die Mitarbeiterin sind sehr unfreundlich und wirken so, als würden sie ihren Job nicht mögen.

Receptionist helped me with all the questions I had and I slept comfortably.

Location is far from the city centre, but I managed to walk from the bus station in an hour, and the city has buses as long as it’s daytime. More importantly, not hot water and no charger by my bed.

Das Hostel ist heruntergekommen und dreckig. Der Dorm war dunkel und hatte nichts zu bieten - es gab nicht mal Steckdosen bei den Betten! Das dazugehörige Badezimmer war alt und dreckig. Auf meinem Bettlacken waren haufenweise Haare (widerlich!) und nach einem Kopfkissenbezug & einer Bettdecke musste ich fragen, da das vergessen wurde. Sozial war das Hostel nicht im geringsten, noch dazu liegt es weit weg vom Zentrum der Stadt.

There was just one plug for the whole dorm (7 beds), it was not really clean and there were leftovers of other travellers everywhere. Also, the distance to the city centre is somewhat long which makes it more difficult to go there by bis. You’d often have to grad an Uber if you didn’t want to make your way through the haze of busses
