BRUMA HOSTEL

L’amabilitat i hospitalitat del Martins ha sigut genial! Estem molt agraïts, manté tot el hostal molt net i es molt atent. L’esmorzar estava molt complet.

Nos ha gustado mucho la ubicación y la limpieza. El baño, pese a ser compartido, estaba siempre limpio y en buenas condiciones. El desayuno muy rico y casero. El dueño fue siempre muy amable con nosotros, ayudando con las maletas y prestándonos toallas para las termas. Además, estaba muy pendiente por whatsapp para darnos indicaciones cuando las necesitamos.

Es gab alles, was man für ein Frühstück braucht und jeden Tag einen frisch gebackenen Kuchen o.Ä., am Wochenende hatten wir einen selbstgemachten Smoothie bekommen. Die Lage war super. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Martins, der Besitzer, war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Ein eigenes Bad wäre uns lieber gewesen, aber es war ok - es gibt 4 Bäder für die bis zu 16 Personen, da kann es sich zu manchen Zeiten etwas stauen.

I had a wonderful stay at Bruma Hostel! Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the location was great for exploring the island. The breakfast each morning was delicious and always a great start to the day. A big thank you to Martins, who was an incredibly kind and helpful host. He helped us arrange a rental car and scooter, which made it much easier to discover all the beautiful spots around the island. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, friendly host and very well equipped kitchen! Bed was comfortable, overall clean bathrooms. I appreciated the flexible and early check in.

I think it is slightly expansive for a hostel and the walls are very thin, you can hear everything.

This is just a great place if you want to stay in Sao Miguel on a budget. Amazing central location in Ponta Delgada and lovely little hostel with nice common areas, big kitchen free to use, and a good breakfast. The rooms are spacious, with large enough lockers, and the beds are comfortable and have everything you need as a traveller (curtains, sockets, even a little shelf). There's no free parking on the street but there are several free parking lots at a comfortable walking distance. And Mr Martins is such a good host!

The laundry room gets locked in the evening so just be aware of that if you're planning to put a wash on. The bathrooms ended up being dirty often, but nothing crazy- if they were cleaned more often during the day I would have given a 10!

Jorge, the owner is really caring about his guests and makes everything easy for them: he was a big part of us having a really good time on Sao Miguel! Everything was super convenient too!
