Excellent location, best in town, directly next to the bikepark lift with super parking. super nice staff. All absolutely great.

Only remark is that WiFi needs improvement in corner rooms.

Having a room and en suite was great, the kitchen well stocked and laid out. Being in the centre of the village was lively, too, - until the pub / restaurant had to celebrate some sports event and the next night offered an open sir rock concert in the street between the hostel and the pub. Both nights were ratger noisy for my liking.

Awesome location right in "downtown" Hahnenklee. We (exhausted mountain bikers) were glad that affordable hotels so close to the mountain trails and Bocksberg chairlifts existed. I assume hikers and other outdoors enthusiasts would enjoy this central location after a long day's trek. My 5-year-old loved the cable cars to the Bocksberg but also the tourist shops, street food, ice cream, and awesome mini golf: all located across the street. The street in front of the hotel is free of most cars so you can wander and look freely without aggressive German drivers ruining your mood ;) Our room (#19) was one of the few rooms without a balcony but it was also one of the few which faced the mountain :D We enjoyed an excellent sunrise wakeup. The street below isn't loud and occasional chatter from the cafe below didn't disturb us much. As in many German hotels, there's no air conditioning here during summertimes so you're dependent on open windows. There's no breakfast available but you can store/prepare food in the (underused) communal kitchen and eating area downstairs. My son loved eating here and sitting on the auto-converted sofa. The hotel theme and deco was very detail-oriented (outdoor sorts like hunting, mtn biking). Lots of deer motifs (Hahnenklee is renowned for its target shooting sports) and Jägermeister logos everywhere downstairs.

The WIFI connection simply didn't work. My 5-year-old son and I spent 3 days here and everything worked out well except the internet. It would not hold the weak signal and/or could not log in at all. I mention my child because his impatient grandparents wanted vacation photos but this wasn't possible over the nonexistent hotel WiFi

Checking in and out was very easy. The room was clean. Clean air and beautiful area

The wifi was not useable. It was too weak. No supermarket. We had to go to Goslar for supplies. The roads are in very bad condition only 1 set of towels for our 7 day stay. So you better bring your own towels. You have to check in at the cafe Marny's below the facility
