Black Forest Hostel

I had a wonderful stay at Black Forest Hostel. The common areas were great, lots of space, tables, comfortable chairs, a hammock, ping pong table, two pianos so there was always someone playing, lots of plants. The kitchen is well equipped also with food, there are a lot of free things that make a big difference as a traveller (salt, oil, sugar, coffee, etc). There is free coffee for everyone in the morning. The place is very alive and welcoming. The room was very good too, sheets were good quality, we had lockers in the room. The showers were really good. Staff was super friendly and helpful, we had long chats and played board games in the hostel. Location was 15 minutes from the center, easy to get the trams, and in a really peaceful area close to the river. Can't recommend enough!

I think the floors in the common areas could be cleaned more often

De ligging van de accommodatie lag ideaal op wandelafstand van het centrum! Early check-out was mogelijk..

Het automatische licht in de gang was storend. Telkens wanneer iemand door de gang liep, ging het licht aan en scheen het onze kamer binnen. Hierdoor werden we meerdere keren wakker en konden we niet goed slapen. Daarnaast was er geen airco op de kamers, waardoor het tijdens de warme dagen erg heet was in de kamer.

Quarto misto não tem privacidade e sempre recebe 90% de homens. Se tiver com uma companheira, é importante considerar deixar ela no quarto feminino. Seria bom colocar umas divisórias para fornecer um pouco de privacidade para cada cama.
