We stayed here as 3 friends and were extremely satisfied with our experience. Who knows how it would have been if we had stayed in a 10 person mixed dorm, but since they gave us a 4-bed room and one bed was empty, it felt just like a private room for us. If you are traveling as a group of 3 or 4 people, I highly recommend messaging them beforehand to ask if they can allocate a private room like this for you. There was a toilet inside our room which was a bit small but definitely enough for our needs, and the shower was shared. The hotel is located in Purmerend, about a 40 minute bus ride from Amsterdam city center. The town itself is great and has everything you need; there are grocery stores, places to eat, and nice spots to have fun around. We easily found everything we needed right in the area. The hotel operator was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One of the best parts of our stay was that they provided us with a secure place to store our luggage after checkout. Thanks to this, we didn't have to carry our bags around while spending our final day exploring. One minor thing to note is that commuting to the city center every day can be a bit costly due to transportation prices, so it's a good idea to keep that in mind for your budget. However, the transport network is very reliable. There are night buses running from the city center back to the hotel, operating every hour around 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 AM, making it very easy to get back even late at night.

The beds and pillows were made of an unusual material, and we had to put on our own sheets and pillowcases. It wasn't the most comfortable bed ever, but since we were only staying for the night, it wasn't a big deal. The toilet inside our room was also a bit small. Additionally, the window in our room didn't open fully it was one of those types that only open halfway so it wasn't quite enough to get fresh air. Lastly, commuting to the Amsterdam city center every day can be a bit costly due to transportation prices, so it's a good idea to keep that in mind for your budget.

The rooms are great, especially when there are no other guests, and the toilets are clean, but they have an unpleasant odor. The place is very quiet and beautiful, but quite far from the center of Amsterdam, but it's worth the price. It's okey

The Hostel is only ~ 30 minutes away from Amsterdam Centraal. The bus line 305 takes you from the Purmerend, Tramplein Station to the city center. The ticket is only ~ €5. The building is surrounded by many restaurants/cafes with many customers, making the area even more lively. As for the staff, the receptionist is a very sweet man. He is very helpful, understanding, and kind.
