I arrived late and both bottom beds were taken. Im a big guy and the top bunk wont hold me. Frankie was fine with me taking the bed matress in the other room with plenty of space. Also sleeping on the floor with this matress was great for my lower back issues as well.

Im greek ... we are born to break rules live as free beings. Dutch or west european culture is different where people obey rules. I found the booking questionnairres and rules a bit too OCD and strict and made me feel uncomfortable. For others this could be fine i think its a cultural issue rather than a property issue.

L'appartamento è accogliente e gli spazi ottimizzati molto bene. Il proprietario (una persona speciale e amichevole, se avrete la fortuna di conoscerlo) accoglie in un'ottica di autogestione: dunque il prezzo è molto basso ma bisogna prendersi cura del luogo e lasciarlo pulito e in ordine per chi verrà. L'idea è molto bella e responsabilizzante ma dovete essere allineati con questa filosofia prima di prenotare :)

Frank accommodation is different than the regular ones we're used to go when we travel, it's an interesting concept that he's made and once you understand how it works (after it has been explained to you) it offers a great space to be used. He has a wide perspective and shares it greatly! Accommodation is quite spaceous, it has different areas, and after comprehending some rules you need to follow in order for it to work since it has no staff you can roam comfortably. My stay was very positive, I really enjoyed the light that came in the space and the precious garden, and the interiors felt very warm and cozy aswell. Town is very pretty too and walkable, and train line is well conected.

Excuse me, I am a foreign traveler who has journeyed more than 11,000 kilometers across two continents. I arrived in the Netherlands hoping to explore, but on the day of my reservation, the owner told me he was tired of customers like me who waste his time. I was traveling and couldn’t read his emails because I didn’t have internet access. Before judging someone, you should first try to understand their situation. Even worse, he left me out on the street. I was alone, exhausted, and unable to do anything. It was one of the worst moments of my life. I called him many times, but he never answered. His behavior was very rude, and if this is how guests are treated, it is better not to come to this place. Even in Brooklyn or at the Red Cross, people treat you better than this owner.

After you answer some questions, you are allowed to stay here. The beds are on the ground floor and the rooms are massive. There is a lobby, common area, kitchen, bedroom, and a small garden. You can choose your own bed and there is a small locker provided. I was alone here for 3 nights but I didn’t mind at all. I guess many ppl don’t bother with the questions and rather cancel. Anyway, the property is just a short walk away from the bus/train station and there are many small takeaways/restaurants nearby. The owner is a nice and talkative guy, who lives upstairs, I only met him briefly during my stay.
