Relaxed atmosphere, great owner, comfy room with own shower and well equipped kitchen

I liked the calm and relaxed vibe of this hostel. Not the most modern but very clean and thoughtful with homely vibes and quirky details, even a garden. Great communication (not in person but via Whatsapp). I would definitely book this again and so far it's one of my favorites.

The check-in with code was ok but I was a little surprised that it stopped working the minute it was 10 am. I had brought my stuff out by then but it feels a little harsh and unflexible. There could be more toilets maybe.

As I was leaving I realized there’s a massage chair in the living room. Don’t miss it! The views are stunning. House is basic, but better than expected. Nice common spaces. Excellent location for penguins and historic district.

No staff on site it’s all virtual and electronic keypads. My bedroom smelled faintly of smoke

The location of the property is incredible, wonderful view to the heritage district and the ocean. The rooms were nicely spaced out, the common areas were very comfortable. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfy and private with sliding curtains. Lots of little comforting details around that made if feel more like a home than a hostel - very easy space to spend time in.

There is honestly nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

nice and clean room and bathroom, nice chill area with comfy seats and couches. strong wifi and all self-explainatory

I saw no staff. everything online or emailed. it was not bad, but I missed a welcoming-feeling.
