Macondo Hostel

We stayed overnight, the place was beautiful as expected surrounded by nature. It is nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly, informative and welcoming. Unfortunately for us due to weather conditions we couldn’t enjoy the beach but the place had a selection of games to play and keep us entertained.

Die to running water on the property, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Even in the dry season.

Enjoyed the isolation and quiet in the mist of a rain forest. Juliana was a good hostess. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.

Great spot on Isla Grande! Clean, comfortable, colorfully decorated, centrally located.

It was a bit hot in the dorm room. The fan made it ok, but the electricity went out for several hours one night, so it was extra hot and buggy.

Justina is great host, great place in the jungle just few steps from the sea, beautiful garden, well equipped kitchen,everything clean and tidy! Absolutely recommend!

Only cold water, warm in the room, a lot of mosquitos, but we still loved this place!
