Villa-Atlas Guest House

We’ve been travelling for 6 months and the rooms here were some of the worst we’ve stayed in. We had an en suite that clearly hadn’t ever been cleaned, it had bug/lizard poo everywhere. The bedroom was in a tiny cosy spot and they had a mosquito net that didn’t properly cover the bed with holes in. When we asked to change rooms they told us we weren’t allowed to even though there was no one in the room next door. We would have left if we hadn’t already paid for our stay in full. The only reason this didn’t score lower is because the social area was great and really relaxing to chill in. It was also in a good location and the divers school they are associated with are incredible. It’s a shame the rest of the hostel lets this place down.

Villa Atlas in Malapascua Island is a cozy retreat in the heart of the city (felt like home away from home!): the location is unbeatable, friendly vibes, and a welcoming community. Highly recommend. The place is comfortable, clean, and social, the hostel is a traveler’s paradise, I created amazing memories here, thanks to the perfect blend of comfort and fun. The staff made all the difference, all kind and very chill person. Finally I can tell that this place is truly a gem for backpackers 😁

I had a great time staying with Altas. Fantastic staffs and they served the best vegetarian meal in town! You cannot miss the Saturday night party 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The location was great, walk distance from the port

The accommodation is very chaotic and not clean (we found dog diarrhea at the kitchen floor) Just one shower per 50 people, and 3 ‘public’ showers…. They said they would provide free water, tank was always empty Dogs, cats and local children walking around everywhere We arrived at 18:00, bed wasn’t ready yet Receptionist just wanted to sell us the hostel family dinner, but when we asked further questions she walked away

Loved this place, extended two times. Rizza and staff are amazing! Would love to stay longer and i will come back!
