Villa-Atlas Guest House

Excellent location, you can see the sunset from the roof! There are lots of different places to relax, and There’s a punch bag and workout/yoga area, a great dive school attached to the hostel (atlas). Annabelle and Beverly who work during the day were lovely and helpful.

There’s no hot water, but that never bothers you in the heat.

Nothing

Run down, place felt like it was going to fall down, no maintenance,no customer service, the room a stuffy dog box! Smell entering the accomodation horrific, slippery decoration tiles on the concrete paths! Pay a fortune for an instant coffee, but not before 8am. Given the noisy premises in the morning, early rising, coffee should be available!

The common areas are great, perfect for backpackers. Also, the people working at the hostel are amazing and will do their best to make you comfortable. Special shout-out to the manager Abi, always on top and helping with everything you need.

I couldn't stay longer

Very chill accommodation with good location, close to the beach and restaurants. It's a bit like living in a tree house. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. I also loved the free drinking water. Mind that this accommodation is basic & jungly. You might wake up next day and find some little wood particles on the floor (termites), also there are mosquitoes in the room. We asked for a mosquito net so in the end we didn't have any problems with that. The bathroom didn't have a ceiling or proper wall, be sure you are close enough to your travel mate to not have any problems with that. :)

It would be awesome if the mosquito nets could be standard in each room! :) We couldn't have slept otherwise.
