MOMO Hostel

The beds were comfortable, love the pod style. The aircon kept it cool at all times, showers and bathrooms were abundant, staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful (especially Dalia who remembers everyone). They stayed up late to let me into the property (even though this is against their policy, I really appreciated it). They all remembered my name and made me feel so welcome. Felt so clean. So good to have x2 pillows. Free coffee and water was a luxury after many other that haven’t offered it. Felt really safe and like you were a guest of the family. Free towel at check in. Literally exceeded all my expectations

Nothing? Aircon was a little chilly at points in the night when at 22 degrees and some showers didn’t have space to keep my own toiletries (which weren’t provided like shampoo/ shower gel) but others had a stand in it for my washbag which i appreciated. Also this hostel isn’t built for those wanting to be social, but suited my needs well.

Excellent couple of days at this lovely place. Clean and homely with free water and coffee and really reasonable snacks/drinks for sale via an honesty box. Located away from the noise but only a 20 min walk to the Main Street. Hot shower available if preferred and comfortable, spacious beds. The staff are also amazing and Momo and Dalia and the lads were so helpful and friendly. Recommended some great places too. Relaxing and chilled vibe was the order of the day made even better by the gorgeous dogs, cats and new kitties! Thanks for a lovely stay.

Eine richtig tolle Unterkunft! Die Besitzerin und ihre Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist extrem sauber und sehr ruhig, kein Party-Hostel, das gefiel mir sehr gut. Im Gemeinschaftsbereich konnte man schön zusammensitzen. Auch im 8-Bett-Zimmer war es ruhig, das hängt ja auch immer von den anderen Gästen ab, hier stimmte der Vibe. Schnorchel u. Taucherbrille zum Ausleihen vorhanden. Netter kleiner STrand mit Sunset in 5min Fußentfernung, abseits vom Massentourismus im Hauptort. Mir hat es gefallen, ca. 15-20 min zum Ort zu laufen, dafür war es ruhig im Hostel und sehr persönlich. Tee u. Kaffee da; Instantnudeln gegen geringes Entgelt zu erwerben. Ganz lieben Dank, ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und war nach etlichen Verlängerungen über eine Woche da :-)

Im Gemeinschaftsbereich roch es sehr stark nach den anwesenden Hunden, das hat mich gestört. Auf den Sitzpolstern lagen Katzen, und an allen Polstern hingen Tierhaare. Brauchte ich so nicht, auch wenn die Tiere an sich ganz süß waren.

It is a really nice and social hostel and the owner and the staff are very friendly and caring and will make sure that you have a really good time in moalboal.

Had a fantastic time - Momo is a lovely host and provides a comfortable social environment to meet other travellers.

All the staff were very kind and helpful except for one younger guy who just frowned and stared at me for the majority of my stay…

Momo is a great host, very nice, always ready to help, same for the rest of the staff. I liked the vibe of the hostel.I can only recommend. There is a common area where people gather in the evening.I really enjoyed it.

It is a bit detached from the town - like 15 to 20 mins walk - but - when you are booking you already know.On the other hand it is calm for sleeping, the town can be a bit noisy. So if you want to party a lot, then go to the center.If you like a calmer spot,this is it!
