CocoRico Hostel

Great food, great location

The staff at cocorico were so good to me, especially Shien who helped me with my bookings, bus and flights. Also the boat tour with Peter was amazing, made the day the best!

beds were spacious and super comfy, the facilities in the dorms and bathroom / shower area was great. plenty of social opportunities, appeared to be popular for food but i didn’t try any. value for money was great. i did the non boozy boat trip and enjoyed it

This is definitely the best hostel on Palawan island! Great location, super friendly staff and guests. They have social events every night and put a lot of effort into their work to make your stay as good as possible. The restaurant and bar are great and not overprized. They close at 11pm and everyone is going out to the nearby bars / clubs. Also even though they have 18 bed dorms, it is really quite by night.

The staff works hard to keep the place clean.

Only one AC in the room, it was not enough to refrigerate, It got really hot in the evening.

The hostel had a great vibe to it, we were there for the Christmas party and made some amazing friends. The hostel was clean and the beds felt private, comfortable and spacious. Although it was a party hostel you can’t hear the music too much from inside the dorms

The wifi didn’t reach the dorms and the service wasn’t great so you had to go outside for wifi

Great social scene in the evenings with activities organised by the volunteers . Really good food i recommend the American breakfast or the baconsilog if you want a “more” traditional breakfast . The boat party run by coco rico is the best activity to do in Port Barton :)

Staff open my bed curtain twice with our announcing themselves. So rude as I was changing after a shower. Also the air con was so high I ended up with a sore trough
