Titanic's Nipa Hut

De cabins staan in een soort van tuin. De cabin waarin ik na een gevraagde update kon betrekken was OK. De jongen die de gasten moest supporten was erg behulpzaam.

De locatie is ver van het centrum, in ieder geval niet op loopafstand. Dat betekende telkens een tricycle huren voor heen en weer terug vervoer over een slecht begaanbare weg. Alternatief is een scooter huren, maar als je dat niet wilt of kunt (slecht begaanbare weg) kan je niet anders dan met de tricycle. Aanvankelijk bleek ik een cabin te hebben gehuurd die erg klein was en waar het toilet buiten was. Dus toilet gebruik is niet in de cabin. Voor mij is dit geen optie. Gelukkig kon ik een betere (duurdere) cabin huren, waar het toilet wel binnen was. De bediening was erg goed, maar de eigenaar (Amerikaanse Filipino) was erg star met boekingsaanpassingen. Ook de tricycle en ander vervoer dienden via haar te gebeuren. Ze liet ook alle vervelende berichten via de jongen brengen. Dit was een zeer onprettige situatie.

We enjoyed the native, authentic feel of the nipple huts. Woven bamboo and woodwork surround us along with the grass fetched roofs. The hats were placed through throughout a quaint little garden. The staff was very polite and helpful.

There was no food available, however, you could walk a short distance to get food at other locations. At times, when trying to sleep, I was woken by the sound of motorcycles or dogs barking in the night- the woven bamboo does not provide any sound insulation.

Für eine Nacht sehr zu empfehlen. Unsere Tour zum Canyoning wurde unkompliziert gebucht. Alles prima und gemütlich.

Great location easy to get to activities although not too central

Staff very welcoming and helpful on arrival, very friendly and would do anything to help. The owner very responsive on messages and helpful, arranged transfers for us to and from moalboal which was extremely helpful. Room lovely and clean and very comfortable bed. Filtered water and coffee, kettle and mugs was a great bonus. Loved being a bit out in nature and pretty gardens.

Bit far walk from the main street. If you have a scooter that's fine, we got tricycles back and forth for low price because we didn't want to walk the low-lit path with dogs at night so not a big issue. Also a convenience store is very close which is helpful!

Very comfortable bamboo huts with clean room and toilets. A beautiful garden with lost of plants make it feel more homely. The staff are very helpful and friendly and always ready to assist. The premises is situated in a quiet are on the outskirts of town, but within easy walking distance from bars, shops and restaurants.
