Hang Loose Hostel

Good location close to tourist street but far enough from the noise. And they do a good job keeping the bathrooms and showers always clean.

Open air concept with mosquitos and other animals able to come in. Cats roaming around the hostel able to get into the dorm beds because there is no doors, no AC, no cold water available (filtered water that sits and gets hot), no options for food or drink. Not a lot of seating and not very social. I don’t recommend this hostel for these reasons.

The staff. The location. The open-air configuration. The lounges. Multiple bathrooms and showers. Very good location if you want to be near the party places. They have generator.

The smell if your bed is near the toilet. Slow water pressure in the shower. The internet used to be good but is a bit slow now.

Bad customer service

I had a very disappointing stay. The staff were unwelcoming and unresponsive to requests. The room was noisy, the bed dusty and uncomfortable, triggering my allergies. The Wi-Fi was slow, and the sockets in my bunk were not working—despite multiple polite requests, it took several attempts before anything was done, and the staff seemed annoyed. My towel was torn, and overall cleanliness and service were poor. Even for a budget option, the experience was far below expectations. I hope the staff receive proper training in guest service.
