The location was okay

My mistake but didn’t check that the bunk bed is outside, it’s not in a room, it’s very loud hard to sleep, the are constructing on the 2 floor soo its noise at 8 in the morning, you have a fan but is very small , not enough it was hot Aswell I arrive very early in the morning and I was very tired I as if it’s possible to check in early, the receptionist said no in a way that she could not care less, left my stuff and went away I arrive 3 hours later then the check in time ( fallen asleep at the beach), and find out my bed with stuff from other people, they check the bed remove, and I realize that I had no towel ( something that 2 workers didn’t saw) , and ask I I can have one, they told me that I can pick it myself in reception, maybe is me except me more for the price, I didn’t like the careless treatment of the workers. Only the older lady that sometimes is in reception is very nice, receives you with a smile and is helpful, the others even dough I only spend on night i didn’t like this tourist treatment way

Nicest showers and bathrooms I have experienced in a hostel in the Philippines. Staff were very helpful and kind.

Wasn’t the most social hostel I have been to. Some of the beds are open in the centre of the room- something to be aware of

Many toilets and showers; generally clean; accommodating staff; close to the hustle and bustle of GL but on a cozy residential street

For the dorm beds, there are no walls so your beds are exposed to the elements-- I didn't like this because of mosquitos, but I didn't actually have much issues (there is a fan for each bed and I got a few bites but I also can't say for sure). You are also exposed to the noise from the common area depending on how close your bed is. This wasn't an issue for me personally, but I'm flagging it as light sleepers might have trouble. The third floor is under construction so there was no access to the roof top and during the day it was noisy at times.

Her hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to our experience. Overall, Hang Loose Hostel is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Siargao.

The private rooms were cozy and clean, though we feel adding some complimentary amenities in the private bathrooms, like shower gel or shampoo, could be a great improvement.

I liked the vibe of this hostel!

I didn’t like that the beds didn’t have curtains but they had something that covered a bit of your upper body. It’s fine if you’re just there to sleep but if you want some privacy this is probably not for you.
