Hostel da Palmeira

Quarto super aconchegante, com roupas de cama branquinhas, ótimo colchão e travesseiros, chuveiro com bastante pressão. Além disso, o contato com as instruções para entrar foi ótimo e claro.

O café da manhã poderia ter água, opção de suco, uma fruta e bolo para ser mais completo. As instruções pra usar o maquinário da cozinha também não era claro!

We were the only guests (very much off-season) and had the place to ourselves. Check-in was via phone contact and easy. The area is very central, the beach front very close by. Breakfast was sufficient and contained nice fresh bread (but hey, we were in a hostel - so no expectations regarding food). Our room was a good size, comfortable beds and a good, clean bathroom.

The downstairs toilet definitely needs a new brush….

They quickly fixed up my booking error. I put December not November in my booking. Andrei and the other receptionist were so friendly and helpful. The hostel had parking out front (though pigeons in the palm tree does dirty the car. The street was a short walk to the beach, but a longer walk to shops and restaurants. The rooms were very clean and had a dehumidifier to prevent mould. The communal lounge/dining area was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but it is low season.
