Family Surf Home - Hostel

Everything was clean to perfection. The staff is super nice and kind. The decoration is super nice. The hostel offers fresh towels and sheets, a fully equipped kitchen with completely brand new pots and dishes and cutlery and the best showers you'll ever experience after a long day of surfing in the freezing cold water of Ericeira. The kitchen also offers some complementary stuff (such as cereal, coffee etc..) Also there's a terrace where you can hang, wash your surfboards and hang your wetsuits to dry.

Some additional thought could be put into some of the interior of the hostel. The vent above the stove is too low, making it hard to cook (and possibly making you bang your head by accident), some of the doors are hard to open and get stuck, and the toilet feels very crumped. The sliding door in one of the showers dislocates on occasion. In addition, the toilet shares a door with one of the showers. The toilet should have been in separate room than the showers because no one will ever use the toilet whenever someone is showering next to him. To sum it up, if the hostel had been at full capacity, the installed facilities would not have been enough.

It was so lovely. The final touches really brought the property together, making it feel comfortable and homely.
