This is the second time I have stayed at Alojamento. This time I had a double bed on the second floor. The location is so good. I like falling asleep to the sounds of the cafe outside and waking up to the sounds of the streetcars as they begin their day. Located on the famous 28 electric tram line, you can easily access the whole city. If you don’t like the sounds of the city, this might not be your place. Everyone who works here is very nice. The other guests were also quiet, or whatever noise they made is drowned out by the street sounds. The second floor has 2 full baths and 1 toilet, so there was never any waiting for the WC. This is a historic building with a lot of character. It is not a fancy hotel. I think it’s a good value for your money. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe here. Visit the neighborhood cafes and the vintage shop.

I think it would be a good investment to get mattress protectors for the beds. Right now, it is just a sheet on a bare mattress. Kitchen could use a few more glasses and cups.
