Localisation idéale pour accéder au centre historique et aux commerces de proximité. La chambre était grande et les lits confortables.

Un effort à faire sur la propreté (tapis sale avec des miettes de gâteau encore présentes). La première nuit une équipe de rugby (adolescents) avait été placée dans les dortoirs présents dans le même couloir que notre chambre privée : ils étaient extrêmement bruyants à crier et courir partout jusqu'après minuit et les murs entre les chambres et le couloir sont très fins. Le personnel n'a rien fait pour leur dire de faire moins de bruit ou nous replacer dans un couloir plus calme.

I felt uncomfortable for three consecutive days. The reception staff member, after finishing their shift, did not leave but instead remained busy with personal matters in the cramped living room, constantly disturbing me. The staff member was also diligently cooking in the small kitchen and occupying the best spot in the narrow common living room to conduct a private English tutoring session, making excessive noise while guests listened intently to their lesson. I was forced to hold my breath, constantly watching my surroundings, and feeling tense in the cramped common living room, which was the only place where I could rest. Because he occupied the entire kitchen while cooking after finishing his tutoring, the living room was uncomfortable, and the shared kitchen was unusable. The most unpleasant part was that he continuously sprayed a strong insecticide on the mattress for 30 minutes after a guest had left, causing me such a terrible headache that I could not sleep. There is no Wi-Fi on the third floor, and the stairs are narrow and dangerous. As a result, the strong insecticide made me uncomfortable in my room, and using the common living room and kitchen was also difficult. I will absolutely never go back.

Great location. Staff went the extra mile. Eg: luggage storage after check-out. Very nice bathroom set up.

Friendly on the reception. Places to eat close by.

Rooms quite small. If you want a good night sleep find somewhere quieter.

The location was wonderful...our room was clean and spacious enough.

I was on walking pilgrimage and needed to hand wash a few items. There really was no place to hang things to dry. Also the kitchen was a little grimmy.

Location in old Coimbra was excellent for walking and sightseeing. If you travel by car or need a taxi, this hostel is a bit difficult to reach because of very narrow streets and lots of stairs. Our room with own bathroom was clean. If you need accomodation in the heart of old Coimbra, this is good value for money.

Hostel has many floors but no elevator/lift – good workout :)
