Luis is an amazing host who takes care of everything going on in the house. The vibe was great — we really enjoyed our time there! He organize as well a dinner for us what was really awesome .

Luis was an extremely welcoming, generous, helpful and cheerful host, made the stay extremely easy and comfortable, answered all questions and was readily available. Excellent location 3 minutes from the beautiful beach, quiet neighbourhood, clean and comfortable house, and stunning natural beach.

Nothing, it was very relaxed and offered everything for a casual, laid-back surf holiday.

Kitchen was very functional

House can be a bit cold during winter/off season so bring some slippers or wool socks.

What a nice place to be specially on surf trip! Vibe is frendly and chill, Luiz is awesome and helpful. You can just rent a board and wetsuit from Luiz, walk to the beach in couple minutes. In walking distance is spots from beginner waves to nice rippable waves. Good selection of wetties and boards.

Cozy and spacious hostel with fireplace inside, Luis(the owner of hostel)was very friendly and informative, you can take surflessons from him. There are a lot of surfboards and wetsuits to rent. Hostel is a bit far from the beach but a nice walk through the dunes makes it pleasant.

I appreciate how Luis and Zina were really communicative and the atmosphere in the house was chill. The shared kitchen was big enough, the location is very close to the surfing spots and they rent surfs. The stay was very convenient :)

The only thing I would point out is the cleanliness of the room. The sheets, towels and rug didnt have a pleasant odor - I understand it is not easy to dry stuff in such a humid climate, maybe a dryer would help. Overally the place could get a bit more care - mopping the floor more regularly, etc.

If you are looking for a cozy surf house for a small price, this is your place. Its on walking distance from the Baleal beach, the 58 surf shop is also around the corner and there are also some locals bars closeby. The house comes across a bit messy, but not in an annoying way, more like an actual home. There are quite some various boards for rent and the kitchen is fully equiped and brand new! Everything works like it should. There is a nice terrace on the front and in the back to chill. We didnt meet the owner, since he was on Bali, but he was very friendly via whatsapp and checked up on us to see if we needed anything else and if everything was fine.

We had a private bathroom with our room, but it was really, really small. The shower turned cold quite fast, and the water was running into the bedroom (but there was also a bigger bathroom next to the room). The windows were not able to be blocked from light, so if you are a sleeper that wakes up from light, bring something to cover your eyes.

The owner and staff really made the place feel like home / family! Would stay again.
