"Very enjoyable stay"

Very nice place, modern. Wonderful view. Perfect location. The room was very comfortable. Very nice welcome and care from the person at the reception. She gave nice visit advice and also kept informed about the weather (storms) which is much appreciated.

Not much to complain about. Just to say something: Maybe some improvement could be made regarding the storage room for everybody in the shared fridge.

The atmosphere in dorms was fantastic - we got to know amazing people there! Andre and Ana are so kind and helpful and always ready to chat about everything! You can clearly see that the place is managed by people with passion towards traveling and others. If you really want to see what Angra do Heroismo is about, to literally feel the city, it’s a 100% GO - the enormous balcony with the view of the inner city will provide you that, especially with finest azorian wine and after the dark.

"Beautiful location"

Perfect spot with a nice terrace overlooking the port of angra and monte brasil. There is a shared kitchen where you can get some coffee or drinks. Ana was really friendly and gave us a lot of information about what to do around the island.

"Exceptional"

The host (Andre) was excellent and very helpful. We liked it so much that we are booking a second stay here for when we return to the island. We would definitely recommend staying at the Mid-Atlantic.

The hostel is really very beautiful, new and smells nice. Our room was very spacious and has a lot of place for storage or our things. The place is very good, it is situated just right next to the main streets of Angra and close to the beach. I would probably stay here again if I had to return to Terceira.

I didn't find the shared kitchen-dining area to be very welcoming in hostel sense. A lot of the fridge and counter space is filled with pricey drinks and snacks, and there is not a lot of cooking utensils. It was a bit annoying to find a kettle in the cupboard every time I went to use it, why would you hide such a frequently used appliance?
