ITExcellent, very clean, confortable mattress, easy very late check-in. Owner is helpful and friendly. Perfect for a one-night sleep before flying from Lisbon, but I guess also for visiting Lisbon. Easy car parking in the street in front of the house.

GBVery decent hostel, super clean, interesting look and comfortable. One of the best hostels I stayed in my life.
There wasn't mirror in the room, no small towel, too high pillows (that's our preference so not for everyone is problem) and no air-conditioning but other than that whole property is great.

AUFlamingos Rio is a hostel but it feels more like a big share house. Check in was a bit difficult as the code we got for the self check in did not work but the owner sorted it out on the phone and we had help from some other guests. Parking out the front was a bonus. Everything was super clean and the rooms were comfortable and generous in size. The bus to the centre leaves close by.
My son had a room downstairs and was unable to open a window for fresh air. Possibly for security reasons as it would have opened onto the porch which is accessible from the street, but a special window that opens only a little or a big air vent could work. We also have noticed that the mattresses in Portugal in general are quite firm compared to Australia. Matter of getting used to.
