New Grand Hotel

My stay was not great. I am not a maniac when it comes to cleanliness but the cleanliness was way below what expected from a hotel: the food menu in the room was sticky, some plates in the kitchen were stained and the kettle pot was dusty. For this quality of service and price, I would have better stayed in a guesthouse.

Literally next door to Daegu Station so convenient to subway and trains. Safe area but lots of construction to avoid.

The location is fantastic. Right by the subway, but two stops from all of the noise. It's in a little flower district with a couple of cute cafes. Loved it.

Reception staff very helpful and pleasant. The beds were hard (common in Korea) but the rooms were spacious, and the decor was completely different in each of the three rooms I happened to see. Location was excellent, right near the station, and with a taxi rank very close by.

Our second time there was like the first. Nice staff and the room was nice.

The staff are very friendly. They speak broken English but understood us.

Room was spacious. More toiletries provided than average hotels (eg hair spray, skin lotion). Free canned drinks and water. Cleanliness to be improved. Dusts and dirts on bed. Bath tub dripped water.

The room was dirty. The floor hadn't been swept. The bathroom was also dirty.

Hotel could use some updating. Bed was very hard and my room looked directly into a hospital ward with 8 patients! Location was good - near the Lotte with lots of food stalls on the B2 level. Overall, the hotel was reasonable when the price is considered.

The lady was very kind and helpful. Although we may not communicate properly cuz I canNot speak Korean, she was still very patient and would like to explain everything to me. Great location , right next to MRT.
