Balkan Soul Hostel

It was my first hostel experience, and the staff there genuinely seem to enjoy what they do and are very good at it. As a socially oriented place, they constantly organize events, which is a great opportunity to meet new people. They even have volunteer staff whose only job is to start conversations and help people get to know each other.They were friendly and attentive.It was a place where regular cleaning was carried out.You can find all kinds of utensils and equipment in the kitchen, both for cooking your own meals and for preparing or drinking something. Considering what you get for the price of a hostel stay, everything was exactly as it should be and even beyond expectations. The location is very central, close to the river and most key places. If you are staying in a hostel in Serbia, this is the one you should choose.If I came again, it feels like I would choose to stay here again to avoid any surprises.

The fridge was a bit small, so it was difficult to find space. Also, the beds caused a bit of back pain for me; a firmer mattress would have been better. Having an extra curtain for the beds wouldn’t be bad either. Of course, expecting these things at this price point might be a bit much, but I still wanted to mention it.

Loved everything! The hostel was peaceful at night, but everyone was so friendly and the social aspect was great. Weronica recommended some great places! The hostel was exceptionally clean and tidy and I loved that every night there was an event organized in the living room (dinner, cocktail night). We had a great time and will be coming back for sure!

The hostel is perfect in every way and you cannot ask for anything more. Highly social, perfect location, event on every night (the dinner one specially). The volunteers are amazing and ready to help 24x7, organising pub crawls, and suggestions on many other things. Would love to stay again, and would highly recommend if you want to meet people and party.
