Strandterrassen Hostel

Bra läge.

Hård madrass. Endast en dusch och två toaletter på 20 rum. Gardinen i mitt rum hade stora hål.

The main reason for visiting Gränna during this particular weekend is the Bluegrass festival in town. The reason for choosing Strandterrassen hostel is the proximity to the caravan/camp/ cabin park just next to it. That's where all the musicians gather before and after the festival to play. Strandterrassen is an ordinary hostel with a shared bathroom. The doubleroom comes with a bunkbed, 2 lounge chairs and a table. The rooms is clean, it is cleaned by the guests. There's a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook or just keep your food- and drink items in the fridge and freezer. Free parking is provided. The ferry to Visingsö is just outside as well as the many restaurants on the pier. You can swim in lake Vättern. The Gränna town is a short walk away.

The isolation between the rooms and the hallway is not the best so if you're a light sleeper do consider another place to stay. There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower in each building so don't be in a rush.

Trevligt, fräscht och nära till strand och restaurang

Det var väldigt lyhört , så det var svårt att sova tyvärr

Perfekt läge i hamnen med restauranger, caféer, musik, dans och karaoke, ca 10 min promenad till huvudgatan med polkagrisförsäljning, butiker och caféer. Ett stenkast från stranden. Mycket rent, fräscht och serviceinriktad personal.

Lite gnälliga sängar och dörrar.

Die Lage am Wasser war sehr hübsch. Es war sauber.

Schlaf war kaum möglich, da die Türen in der Unterkunft bei jedem Öffnen quietschen und bei jedem Schließen krachten. Überhaupt war die Unterkunft extrem hellhörig. Die Ausstattung war sehr minderwertig und klapprig: vor allem das Doppelbett wirkte instabil. Die Matratzen waren dünn und extrem unbequem. Die Duschen überschwemmten das ganze Bad. Das war sehr unkomfortabel und gefährlich.
