Wish we stayed longer instead of going down to kiruna. This place is very special and will stay with us for a long time, lovely kind people and staff and you feel like a little family

The price/value ratio is very good for this hostel. It has a good positioning, nice friendly staff and a great bonus with the free sauna! For a place like Abisko it was perfect!

Being able to use all the facilities for free, including the sauna and hair dryers, was actually very good

Chek-in and more bathrooms : It was good overall, but we ran into a real hassle. We arrived around 7 p.m., a bit late, and found no one there. There were no instructions sent ahead of time, no one at reception, and the contact phone they provided was basically useless unless you dug through the phone’s directory on the spot. Nobody mentioned that before. Eventually, we found someone who helped us find the room, but once we got there, the sheets we had paid for weren’t in the room. I had to go back to the reception area, find this person again, and she completely ignored me at first. I had to literally stop her to ask who was in charge. It turned out she was the one assisting, and she finally told us the sheets were just sitting on a chair at the entrance, and nobody had informed us. Also, the room directions were just written on a piece of paper at the entrance, and no one told us that either. In short, the check-in process was a mess. They need to get more organized and at least send clear instructions beforehand. It. Also I would strongly suggest adding more bathrooms. There is only one bathroom per floor, and each floor has a capacity of around 16 people, which is far too many for just one bathroom.
