La Zona Hostel

The staff was very nice and helpful, the place overall was very clean, like the bathrooms, common areas. There are also a lot of places nearby to eat or drink. The area is very safe to walk at night or any other time of the day. Bonus: They have a beautiful and sweet dog in the reception area.

The lockers in my room didn't have padlocks, it would be nice for that to be on the page, for you to be prepared and take one from home; also, the lockers are a little bit damaged. The good thing is that there was a hardware store nearby and I was able to buy a padlock. The room is supposed to have a/c instead of fans. But the a/c is turned off during the day, and since there are no fans inside the room, it gets hot if you need to rest during the day.

It was centrally located with restaurants and buses nearby. I liked the 24 hour check in and security cameras.

The staff were not friendly or welcoming. I don’t speak Spanish very well and they didn’t speak any English. This is normal in Central America and using a translation app is helpful in these situations but they were not interested in even making an attempt to talk to me even, with an app. They also did not come to clean the bathroom (empty the trash).

It is very well located, a very safe sector, and has many good restaurants close by. All the staff members were really friendly, and they were always ready to help you resolve any problem you have. The Laundry service is very fast and good. I had no problems with the sound even when I went to sleep early. It has a good internet connection to work.

The room has a small window, so there is less natural light you receive than what you see in the photos. There are no breakfast options (but it is a good breakfast), and the cleaning and quality of the towels could be improved. You need to be outside the room while they are cleaning it (it is understandable, but it hasn’t happened to me in other places)

The staff were friendly. Good location. Everything you need is walking distance.

This place is so cute!!! It is in a PERFECT location. You can walk to tons of restaurants. We even walked at night and it was fine, this part of the city is nice and safe. Free parking right out front too which was great. Super friendly staff and hostel dog. Rooms were decorated cute and it had a nice open air breakfast location.

Breakfast was meh. Cold eggs and hard toast with nothing to put on top of it but it's enough protein and coffee to get you going! Then you can just walk somewhere for a nice latte or early lunch.

Close to bus options, clean, comfy, safe, quiet. Good bunks in dorms, a nice breakfast included.A isolated nook to play the hostels guitar. Claudia, who works during the day was so sweet and helpful. The lovely woman who cooked breakfast was so kind. I met great people there. The other guests were friendly and fun.

Safe but pricey neighbourhood. Felt like a suburb in any city. But Centro in San salvador was not a place i wanted to stay. Maybe someday soon.

I really liked the place, the room where we stayed was very nice.

That at night someone tried to open the door, I do not know why.
