Anya House

Clean and comfortable rooms very centrally located in Thong Sala, 5 mins walk to pier but still surprisingly in a very quiet area. Rooms have a large bed, fridge, full length mirror, lamp and block out curtains. No kettle, but there is free hot water and coffee near the reception. Shared bathroom is very clean and has toiletries to use. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Had to ask for a top sheet as bed only had bottom sheet and a blanket.

Location is absolutely ideal, literally right at the tongsala ferry port. Close to Phangan Street market too so lots of cheap food options near by. Weather was awful while we were there and staff were helpful giving us an umbrella.

All bathrooms are downstairs and all rooms are upstairs. Was not an issue for us but could be an issue if you needed the toilet in the middle of the night.

It’s very central. The owner is very nice. The beds have curtains for privacy.

It’s tiny. I’ve slept in some hostels around the world and this set up is too small. I felt claustrophobic. And the price too high for what it is.

The place had a very friendly and homely feel, it is nearby some great cafes and restaurants, and close to main roads. It’s a quiet area at night and also close to the pier. Facilities were all clean and comfortable. The air con works amazingly and there is also a fridge. The owner was very attentive and friendly 🙂

There is only one PowerPoint area and the bedside lamp doesn’t reach. Maybe would benefit from an extension lead ran along the floor and a power board.
