台甕茶室青年旅館 Tai-Wong Tatami Room Hostel

The location was alright in the city. Thankfully the other customers were quiet. 2 showers / sinks / restrooms AC and hot/cold water available.

The check-in was rushed and in Chinese only. I don't speak Chinese and I was lucky my friends did, because the host made no effort to explain nor took the time to make sure we understood what was said. Also, I thought I had paid online during the reservation, but the host asked us to give cash only during check-in. There was no mention of "cash only" before. On the reservation it was "cash and card", so that was stressful and unpleasant. The atmosphere of the place was different than what I imagined when I saw the pictures. It is made to look Japanese and aesthetic, but it is mostly uncomfortable and impractical. The "rooms" are extremely small (only space for one "bed"), with no space to put your belongings in the rooms. The beds are just cushioned tatami mats with a bed pad, no futon, and a cover. I woke up with my back and hips aching. There was no privacy possible in this place. The walls are literally paper-thin. There are 2 showers; none of them have a door to separate them from the main room. The big cameras at every corner of the rooms don't make the place feel very homey or welcoming either. I left my belongings downstairs, since there was no place for luggage in the bedrooms, and discovered a colony of ants had invaded my food the next morning.

很有特色的建築

非常的便宜～我覺得適合邀請朋友們一群人把旅館包下來～

空間比較狹小且樓梯稍微陡峭走路要注意一點 浴室跟廁所離休息區很近，如果晚一點使用上可能會吵到其他旅客～ 建議比較不怕他人吵鬧或是遇到陌生旅客會尷尬的人居住～

對榻榻米適應良好我蠻喜歡的，有空調有涼，洗澡熱水很熱

地點有點難找，外面看起來有點嚇人，裡面的牆壁蠻簡陋的
