台甕茶室青年旅館 Tai-Wong Tatami Room Hostel

Very cool and atmospheric hostel. The tatamis were comfortable and the bedding clean. Good water pressure and hot showers, and a good water machine in the public area. The tea room was also quite nice, although their tea wasn't so fresh.

We came in the days after a typhoon and the building leaked a lot in the rain. No water got on us while we slept but the bathroom floors flooded and water dripped down all the walls.

Coziness and location and cleanliness.

The tea room setting is interesting. It's like a capsule which the bed space can only fit a person, if you're very tall you might not have enough leg room.

Do note that sometimes they receive only cash.

The place was lovely and unique, room was small but that should be expected. Also the staff were great, very accommodating to any of my needs any time, I asked for an iron and they came over nearly straight away to deliver one. Staff really shined through

Just a few too many mosquitoes, but it isn't the fault of the place, they're doing their best and I think it will be solved soon.
