USTravel Bug is close to where the bus drops you off from Taitung and is conveniently located. There is a big common space to be social, and the vibe encourages you to talk to each other. Really nice and friendly staff
Set your expectations - they are also quite transparent about this in their photos so it’s not bad or a surprise - the female dorm beds are not private, and there is always a light on outside so the room is never truly dark. Just bring an eye mask and ear buds and you’ll be set

FRWelcoming and with everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast included with fruit, bread, coffee, oatmeal... perfect value for money whether you stay for a short or long stay. Nice vibes in the common area, 2 lovely cats living there and some nice dogs who visit sometimes haha Beach, mountains, convenient stores, coffeeshops, bars and restaurants around. Perfect

IDIt's easy to reach by bus. It's a great place for musician since there are plenty of musical instruments available to use. The staff is helpful and can speak English fluently.
The smoke from the front porch gets into the lobby. It's quite uncomfortable for a non-smoker.
