Avoid – dishonest and unprofessional. I didn’t want to leave this review, but after giving the hostel multiple chances to fix their mistake, I feel others should be warned. I booked a bed one day in advance. Shortly after confirming, they messaged me saying there were no beds available and told me not to come. Since my stay was the next day, I immediately made other arrangements. The issue is what followed. They repeatedly told me to cancel the booking myself—even though they are the ones who cancelled and that would result in a charge due to the late cancellation policy. They claimed they “couldn’t” cancel it on their end, which is a lie and an attempt to avoid penalties on their side. Then, on the day of the booking, they suddenly said a bed was available and acted as if nothing had happened—while still warning me I’d be charged if I didn’t show up. This, after already telling me not to come. This is completely unacceptable. They created the problem, refused to fix it, and tried to shift the financial responsibility onto me. I can’t comment on the facilities since I didn’t stay, but based on this experience, the management is disorganised and rude at best, and dishonest at worst…
