DESYATINNAYA Hostel

small hostel in the groundfloor/basement, very kind staff and atmosphere. very clean, many bathrooms for few people. kitchen is basic. overall, my favorite hostel kyiv yet (out of 6 or so)!

not easy to find, if you dont know it. you have to go through the arc (opposite of foreign ministery) into the backyard, then on the right side in the corner.

Чудове розташування, хвилин 10-15 до станцій метро та центру міста. Хостел склав приємне враження. Приємна власниця, чиста та комфортна кімната і достатньо тихо для комфортної ночівлі.

Внутри неприятный запах, и состояние не такое хорошее, как кажется на фотографиях.

Good bathrooms and showers

It's a perfect and cheap spot for solo travellers. The owner is named Valya, and she is living on the residence. She is one of the nicest people possible to own a hostel and is very kind, she keeps the place clean and manages it well. It's so close to the centre too! The information is a bit outdated, there is WiFi here. A lot of people reported having difficulty finding the place, I will describe it to you. When you get to the place where Google Maps will tell you you have arrived, you should see the parking lot for a grandiose government building to the right. Now turn to the left (first photo attached) and you will be in a courtyard. Then, see the second photo attached for where you should go next. Just ring the bell.
