In Town hostel

Für mich war es ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Gute Location Wohlfuehlort Jederzeit gerne wieder hier in Lwiw.

Given my extensive experience in dozens, maybe hundreds of hostels around the world, I can say that "In Town Hostel" in Lviv is quite decent. I would like to mention a few observations, which are in no way complaints or diminish the fact that the hostel is very solid. 1) Unlike the joyful, optimistic atmosphere of hundreds of other hostels, the guests staying here hardly talk to each other. The reason is clearly that during this time of war there are a minimum of tourists in Lviv and the guests are mostly local residents of Lviv, soldiers on vacation, people traveling in connection with the war such as refugees, etc. 2) The hostel is a little colder than I would like. The reason is again the war and the lack of energy. 3) Almost daily power outages, although in Lviv they are not nearly as serious as in the east of the country. 4) The city of Lviv would seem completely safe if a tourist did not encounter a large number of soldiers on the streets and, even worse, if many of them, young men, did not have prosthetic legs instead of legs, if military funerals with military honors were not held daily in local churches, and if one did not visit the central cemetery (Личаківський цвинтар) with its remarkable old graves of the great men of Ukraine and then be shocked by the hundreds of brand new graves of young boys. However, the biggest shock awaits after leaving the cemetery, when right next door you find a new, improvised cemetery, this time with thousands of brand new graves of exclusively young men.

Шум та брудна душова

Розташування просто ідеальне, центральніше тільки ночувати в ратуші)) Мені дістався окремий номер з видом на внутрішній дворик, тож з вулиці було тихо, хоча бачила, що є номера з видом на площу, тоді б було дуже красиво, але можливо трохи шумно) В номері було все, що треба, а так як я заїхала, коли у Львові було відключення світла, то мені ще й дали з собою лампу :) Був затишний мінімалізм, усе без нарікань. Єдиний мінус це те, що в номері дуже чути усе, що відбувається у коридорі, проте я міцно сплю і для мене це не було великою проблемою, але для кого є — майте на увазі) Персонал ввічливий та приємний. Обов’язково зупинюся тут ще!:)
