Youki Haus Hostel

The rooms were perfect, had everything we needed! Staff was super nice and the facilities were awsome!

It is right next to a busy road so it got quite loud in the afternoon. But nothing to crazy! And was quiet in the evenings:)

Good place overall, good price. It’s nicely furnished and you can tell that attention was paid to small details. The kitchen is well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I even wondered if someone had repaired my pants, unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to ask! The place has a relaxed, friendly hostel vibe. That said, the street noise is quite noticeable, there are a few too few bathrooms, and the water pressure could definitely be better. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Small and cozy, highly social hostel with amazing staff, good vibes, and family atmosphere. Nice rooms, rooftop terrace, equipped kitchen, and a lovely axolotl! And they also can do laundry for the same price (or even cheaper) as in the city

Todos fueron súper amables, la casona es hermosa, tiene muchos espacios compartidos donde conocer gente que esté hospedándose. Me hubiera encantado quedarme más días

It was cheapest option in the area for private room. Pretty expensive though as everything in Montevideo. Room was clean, bed was comfy, bed linens were fresh. Common area is spacious and cozy, especially the terrace. Host speaks many languages and ready to help you. And they have axolotle!

Still, it's just a room in the hostel, without private bathroom. Quite noisy, because the windows are looking at the big crossroad. There were A LOT of mosquitoes, especially in the bathroom.
