Piedra Alta Hostel & Suites

Loved the vibe at this hostel, the location and the friendly people working there. There is a lot of common space with a garden and roof terrace at the back.

The kitchen is used a lot and could be a bit cleaner. The double bed mattress needs replacement.

Breakfast and dinner were beyond great, and the staff super friendly! It was perfect to meet other travelers and locals

Bathrooms were too little.

Nice atmosphere in the Hostel. Breakfast was included, possibilities to work Rooftop was really nice for breakfast and sunset. Rooms cosy decorated

They sold it with moskito nets, which was one of the reasons for chosing the place as after some rain these were quite penetrant. There was a net on the Windows, but open at the side. The excuse was, they were being washed, while the next day we discovered, they just got rid of them. They did provide a chemical solution, but being allergic to the chemicals, that was no option. They did offer free cancellation, which we did appreciate, nevertheless decided to stay. It is not professional though, insisting in sending us to a different place, if we didn't want to do so. That was the most unpleasant situation.
