Amir Hostel is a nice place to stay during visit to Samarkand. I enjoyed my stay there. The hostel is very nice and it is located in the center of the city. There are many shops, restaurants and bus stops near the hostel. The hostel is easy to find. It is very clean. Beds are comfortable so I slept very well. There is appropriate number of bathrooms and toilets at this accommodation. Free clean towel provided by the hostel. Liquid soap is available in each bathroom. Guests get keycard to open the door to enter the hostel so I was able to go out and come back whenever I wanted at daytime and night time. Free lockers are provided in the bedroom so my belongings are safe during my stay. Wi-Fi was working very well at the hostel. There was kitchen available if I wanted to cook some food. Also, electric kettle available to use whenever you want. A big refrigerator is also avilable to use in the kitchen. Laundry service available at cost 30000 Sum. There is also nice outdoor area where you can eat, have some drink and socialize with others. There is also designated smoking area. The owner of the hostel was friendly and helpful. He provided me with information how to get to places which I wanted to visit. I was provided also with free map with all important tourist attractions in Samarkand. It was pleasant experience to stay at this hostel and I will be happy to come here again. It was a good value for money.
