Milk Milk Homestay

The room was comfortable and the ambiance of the hotel was nice, they had a fire pit outside lit and a pool table. They also had a family style dinner available for 100,000 vnd (we didn’t eat the dinner but it looked good) and had breakfast the next day for 50,000 vnd however the pancakes were pretty bad.

There were two dogs which continuously barked. Other than that, we had a great stay and would suggest to stay here for the convenience on the Ha Giang Loop.

Nice location away from the Main Street, good view of surrounding hills, old style buildings, hot water was great, heater in the room, good dinner and breakfast

I have only one issue. After dinner, from 8pm until around 11:30 pm, a super loud karaoke session meant that there was no chance to relax or sleep.. it was concert level sound. As everywhere is open, the sound travels throughout the hotel. That was bad enough, but someone started to play pool at 6am, the sound of the balls being once again transmitted throughout the hotel. I had a bad nights sleep, which spoilt my stay. Sorry 🤷🏼‍♂️

I had an early flight and arrived before the standard check-in time, but the staff were kind enough to let me check in early. This flexibility really helped, as I could rest after my journey and start exploring Ha Giang feeling refreshed.

They were always available to help with anything I needed, whether it was offering local recommendations or helping me book a tour. They even helped me with my luggage and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I felt well cared for.

Although I stayed in a shared dormitory, I felt like I had my own space. I could enjoy my personal space while still meeting other travelers.

The staff were helpful and spoke good English, making communication easy. They gave me great tips about things to do around Ha Giang, they were kind enough to give me a bowl of hot soup, made me feel at home.

After a long day of sightseeing, I looked forward to returning to the cozy room with a large, soft bed. The blankets were thick and warm, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep even in the chilly weather of Ha Giang.
